Publish, review, and analyze monthly Profit & Loss (P&L), balance sheet, and cash flow statements. Reconcile book journals and ensure they remain up to date with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) systems. Compare actual and forecasted financial statements, reduce the cost of capital, forecast operational assumptions, and develop corporate long-term financial modeling. Propose financial actions by analyzing accounting options, report and analyze financial statements, control budgets, and corporate liquidity, and analyze and conciliate free cash flow and fund necessity. Forecast P&L, as well as produce balance sheets and valuation models using Net Present Value (NPV) and multiples methodologies. Support strategic planning, conduct research, and data analysis to inform business decisions, and implement and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Implement balanced scorecard strategic planning, support the development of new products and services, and develop and implement performance bonus compensation. Build business plans, as well as prepare pitch decks for potential partners and investors. Build and update marketing plans, financial plans, and investment analyses. Originate market intelligence reports, evaluate competing services and price schemes, and assess the financial and operational performance of public companies. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to lead a team of Financial and Human Resources professionals on carrying out accounting and personnel functions. Support ad hoc projects, including inputting new contract agreements into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, hiring Tax Audit firms, supporting residual income portfolio sales, and handling marketing initiatives. Domestic travel is required <5% of the time.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Advanced Management, or related field plus 5 years of professional experience in financial operations (including planning, budgeting, management, forecasting, and mergers and acquisitions) and performing financial analysis to develop projections and provide financial advice for business growth. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Advanced Management, or related field plus 3 years of professional experience in financial operations (including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and mergers and acquisitions) and performing financial analysis to develop projections and provide financial advice for business growth. Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience working with payment processing companies; 3 years of professional experience using advanced MS Excel functions (including VLOOKUP, Sumifs, VBA Coding, Index/Match, and Pivot tables); 3 years of professional experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Access; and 3 years of professional experience leading projects or functional teams on carrying out accounting and personnel functions.
